Physical education and technology survey

Dear Parent or Guardian,

We are Kirstin Jensen, Katie Kauffman and Christopher Walsh, all physical education graduate students at the University of Idaho.  We are conducting research as part of our program and the research focuses on the Comprehensive School Physical Activity Programs (CSPAPs) and the benefits it offers students and families. We are working with our professor Dr. Catherine P. Berei, to research how technology is utilized to enhance physical activity amongst adolescents and their families.  I would like to invite you to participate in a short survey on CSPAP.  The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and your responses will not be connected to your identity.

Please click on the link below, which will take you to our survey’s website:

Please know that your participation in completing this survey contributes to the field of physical education.  More importantly, sharing your perspective helps us to understand how technology can increase the amount of physical activity adolescents are getting.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us: Kirstin Jensen (kirstinj@uidaho.edu; 206-422-8388) Katie Kauffman (kauf6739@vandals.uidaho.edu ; 208-410-2881) Christopher Walsh (wals2495@vandals.uidaho.edu; 206-856-5261) or Dr. Catherine Berei (cberei@uidaho.edu; 208-885-2188).

Thank you for your time and consideration in completing our survey to better understand what school-based professionals such as yourself believe about physical activity opportunities in physical education.
Sincerely,
Kirsten Jensen, Katie Kauffman, Christopher Walsh
