Food/Hygiene Drive for Homelessness Awareness Week Nov 14-22

During the 2014-15 school year, the Twin Falls School District had identified 412 children as homeless.  By the end of October of this school year, the district has already identified 272 homeless children.  Nationally, statistics say that roughly 10% of the student population could be defined under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act. The Twin Falls School District receives some funding to assist these students, but we want to do more. Please help us meet these students’ needs by bringing in canned goods or unopened hygiene products as we support and recognize National Homelessness and Awareness Week, November 14-22nd.
