TFSD #411 Board of Trustees Announces New Superintendent

The Twin Falls School District #411 Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Dr. Brady Dickinson will be filling the role of superintendent for the 2017-18 school year. They made this announcement Monday, April 3 at 7:30 a.m. at the District Office Board Room.
Board Trustee Mary Barron commented that while the district is changing hands so to speak, there will continue to be a focus on the students and support for all staff. The new superintendent was hired after an extensive search and interview process including a meet and greet where community members could visit with the three finalists. The process was designed and managed by the Idaho School Boards Association, who facilitated a nationwide candidate search, vetted applicants, and assisted with interviews and contact with the applicants. Dickinson currently works as the Director of Operations and Educational Technology for the Twin Falls School District, where he has overseen the construction of three new schools and renovations and additions district wide. Dickinson joined the TFSD in 1995 as a social studies teacher at Robert Stuart Middle School. He has served the district in a variety of capacities, including athletic director at RSMS, principal at RSMS, and became the first principal of Canyon Ridge High School when the school opened in 2009. The change in leadership comes after current TFSD superintendent Dr. Wiley Dobbs announced his plans to retire last fall. The transition plan includes Dobbs remaining with the district until August 31 and Dickinson starting on the job July 1.
