Dear TFSD Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need your help to understand where students will be riding the bus to school. Today, we are officially opening the Bus Service Registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.

Deadline to register: July 31

👉 Click Here to Register for Bus Service

If you plan to drive your student, carpool, or if they will walk, you do not need to complete the form. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community moving efficiently.

Presidents' Day
We are excited to recognize Jill Fisher, fourth-grade teacher at Morningside Elementary, as our Certified Employee of the Month! 🎊

Jill is a teacher and mentor who brings learning to life, creating engaging and inspiring spaces for students and colleagues alike. She loves seeing students light up with curiosity and excitement—and her creativity doesn’t stop at the classroom! Outside of school, Jill designs improv and modern quilts, some of which are featured as vinyl art on electrical boxes at Poleline and Blue Lakes. 🎨🧵

📚 From the Principal:
“Mrs. Fisher is the kind of teacher every child deserves. Her classroom is a cognitively rich environment where students are encouraged to wonder, question, and explore. She designs meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and has a special talent for turning simple materials into something magical. She goes above and beyond every day, and our school is better because of her.”

Congratulations, Jill! ✨

Please join us in celebrating Samantha Corbridge, speech language pathologist at Morningside Elementary, as our Classified Employee of the Month! 👏

A curious and kind soul, Samantha’s love of reading sparked her passion for language and speech. She finds joy in watching her students’ faces light up as they master new skills and takes pride in being a safe, welcoming space for every child who needs one. 💛

🗣️ From the Principal:
“Mrs. Corbridge is an exceptional speech and language therapist with deep expertise and a genuine love for kids. Students light up when she enters the classroom, whether they work with her directly or not. She builds trust and confidence through engaging, student-centered instruction that feels like play—but delivers powerful learning. We are so lucky to have her at Morningside!”

Congratulations, Samantha! 🌟

Hello Morningside Families,

We are currently experiencing a power outage. Our staff members do have access to cell phones for emergency purposes. We have been in contact with Idaho Power, and they anticipate our power to be restored by 4 p.m. We will be able to continue school this afternoon until the normal dismissal time. As a reminder, during power outages, your calls are forwarded to the district office, where staff members can relay messages to our school as needed.
