Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,
In consultation with Idaho Power, we are happy to share that power will be restored to our campuses momentarily. A Squirrel, let’s call him Sparky, took out the substation. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,
We are currently experiencing a power outage across several of our campuses. Our staff members do have access to cell phones for emergency purposes. We are currently working with Idaho Power to determine the anticipated restoration time for power to our buildings. We will communicate with you as soon as we have this information. At this point, students are being served lunch, and we anticipate being able to continue school this afternoon until the normal dismissal time. As a reminder, during power outages, your calls are forwarded to the district office, where staff members can relay messages to our school as needed. We ask that families use this option only in an emergency to avoid overloading our systems.

We've got dramatic actors, enthusiastic actors, and actors who are being bribed with snacks to participate! We've got props held together with hot glue and hope, and an ongoing mystery of whether lines are memorized, kind of memorized, or, "I'll read it off of the back wall and hope nobody notices" memorized.
Nonetheless, the students are working hard to put on a great show for us. We really are proud of our 7th Graders who have the courage to perform on stage. Come check it out! And, whatever happens on the stage...well, we're all going to be talking about it at school the next day!

Middle school science - where curiosity meets chaos, and everything is technically “for educational purposes.”

Mark your calendar for December 2!

Some of our PE students took part in a modified CHAD 1000x challenge on Veterans' Day. The 8th Graders completed a minimum of 500 step-ups. After school, PE teacher extraordinaire, Mrs. Kauffman, took the challenge to the max and completed 1000 step-ups using a 12-inch box and a weighted vest. (Are your thighs hurting just from reading this?!)

Another amazing and memorable 6th Grade Girls' Night Out happened at RSMS recently! Our girls rotated through several sessions including nutrition, online safety, journal making, Zumba, meditation & mindfulness, bracelet making, and bucket hats. We wrapped up the evening with a midnight game in the gym and a sleepover. A huge thank you to a few community members (including our SRO) for helping, as well as staff members. It was a special night of learning, trying new things, and making friends.❤️

From calming landscapes drawn on whiteboards to spontaneous lessons on “the joy of mistakes,” our staff brought the positive vibes and happy, little trees.

PE students aren’t just running the mile…they’re carrying a "pumpkin: (medicine ball) like it’s the world’s weirdest cardio challenge. Gavin and Slade won today with a time of 7:17! Partners shared carrying the "pumpkin" on their run!😅

Students whispered that the cafeteria fridge creaked open by itself this morning… and the lunch ladies SWEAR they saw a chicken nugget move. Just a little... like it was trying to escape. 👀
But don’t worry! Today’s Halloween lunch is 100% safe! Check out the amazing lunch created by our lunch crew!

How do our teachers feel about no school the day after Halloween this year? Zero candy-hangover zombies in the hallways, no ring pops for breakfast, and no post-Halloween snoozing in class? It's a true Halloween miracle!

It's Twin Day at RSMS. Check out our two Mr. Bs!

Did you know that we have a community food pantry at Robert Stuart Middle School?

Updated game schedule (wrestling will be added soon)

RSMS Book Drive begins November 1. We are collecting new or gently used books to add to classroom libraries. Books can be dropped off at the office. Thank you for your donation.

In today’s episode of "Things That Sound Like Torture But Are Actually PE," we bring you: Death by Burpees! Each minute, the reps go up until you physically can’t anymore. Randyn survived the apocalypse of burpees and lived to tell the tale. The rest? Fallen heroes of fitness.

When life gives you leaves...jump in! Leaf it to our teachers to make the most of busy, non-student school day.

We are having a school fundraiser on October 31. Purchase a $3 hat pass before school and wear a fun hat all day during class. Please remember no costumes.
