I am a wife and mother to 3 children 1 boy and 2 girls. This is my 11th year teaching and my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten. I taught Early Childhood Special Education for 9 years. My family and I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and exploring the hidden treasures of our great state! I was born and raised in Pocatello and we have lived in the Twin Falls area for 8 years. When we are not camping, fishing and exploring, we are usually at some sporting event cheering on our children and helping them develop their talents.
I have been a teacher with the Twin Falls School District since 1987. That seems like such a long time but I think that being around such wonderful kids every day makes me feel younger each year! I have taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, science block, and now I’m working with English Language Learners (ELL). Besides being a teacher, I also love to learn. I earned my Associate’s Degree from CSI, my Bachelor’s Degree from ISU and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in helping English Language Learners from BSU. Every day my students teach me about our world, cultures, and language. Together we learn about living in America, our English language, and being compassionate human beings. My favorite quote to live by is, “Students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” – Theodore Roosevelt

I moved to Twin Falls in 2015, from the small rural town of McGill, Nevada where I taught for 21 years. I spent 13 years teaching and working in the field of Early Childhood Education. In 2007 I began my elementary teaching career where I taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th and Special Education. When I am not teaching I spend my leisurely time swimming, writing, going to hockey games, and spending time with my family. I am loving life here in Idaho and look forward to many more years of teaching at Morningside.
I was born and raised in a small town in northwest Montana with the Flathead Lake as my back yard. I went to college at Faith Baptist Bible College and studied Secretarial Science for two years. I married the man of my dreams when I was 22, and had 2 kids-a boy and a girl, we lived in Missoula, Montana. In 2002, we moved to Twin Falls, kicking and screaming, but now we wouldn’t have had it any other way. I started working for the TF school district as a sub in 2002, then at Morningside as a playground aide in 2003. In 2008, I got my dream job as secretary at Morningside Elementary, where I still am today.
Hello Second Graders! This is Jazz, classroom 6’s brave knight who watches over you while you read, write, create, sleuth, and use your math brains. It may help mom and dad to know Miss Myers graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and has a Masters of Education from Lesley University, Boston, MA. She l-o-v-e-s to tie science and art into weekly lessons and always, ALWAYS wants to know your thoughts and opinions. When she isn’t in school, she likes to write, read, swim, and garden.
My name Misty Dawn Olson-Roche. I have three beautiful children. I was born and raised in McGill, Nevada. I enjoy reading, crafting and anything to do with the outdoors. I have had the desire to teach since I was eight years old and I feel extremely blessed that I get to teach everyday.
Julie Price has been teaching for 29 years and is enjoying her fourth year at Morningside Elementary School. Two of her sons are married and her eldest son and his wife have two sons. Julie Price and her husband, Robert, enjoy their two grandsons. Julie also loves scrapbooking, family history, and many different kinds of creative arts and crafts.
I have had the privilege of teaching 1st grade at Morningside Elementary for the past five years. This year I have embarked on a new adventure. I am now teaching 3rd grade. Although I loved teaching 1st grade, I find I am enjoying teaching 3rd grade as well. I am happily married with four grown children and two young grandsons ages 2 and 5. My favorite seasons are autumn and spring. My hobbies include, cooking, reading, and horseback riding.
